The dielectric strength, otherwise called test for the applied
voltage of a product, is the deformation effect of the atomic
and molecular structures brought  about by the electric field.
The value  of the electric field strength corresponding to the
most  bearable  stress, after  which the discharge happens,
is  the  dielectric  strength  and  it  is  usually  expressed   in
KV/mm.   Dielectric    strength    is    an    uneasy   to  define
parameter.  It   depends   on the shape of the specimen, on
the  thickness of  the wave shape of the applied voltage, on
the atmospheric pressure, on the humidity ratio.
A   range    of   professional  appliances  used   to  set   this
complex   and  very  useful parameter is now presented. All
the   instruments  comply  with   national   and   international
safety regulations CEI 42, IEC 1180, EN 61 180.

EDO4

Wholly microprocessor operated appliance, it enables to acquire
all the trials in true effective value (TRUE RMS).
Besides   the   dielectric  strength,  it carries  out all the tests for
the  continuity  of  the  equipotential  circuit,   for   the   insulation
resistance   and   for the residual voltage. It is possible to link it
up to a PC and to a remote printer.

EPK300

Appliance for dielectric strength tests, specifically conceived
for testing with both standard and custom made up to 100 KV
test voltage.
It   suits  some  particular  testing  needs  in  laboratories,  on
automatic lines and for single piece tests.

EPK520

Standard  appliance,  compact  and  easy  to hand, with good
use flexibility. It carries out tests up to 5 KV.

EPK 610

This product, thanks to the new microprocessor technology, is able to perform
dielectric strength tests up to 5 KV and insulation resistance tests up to 1500 Vdc.
