CHARACTERISTICS
This dielectric
strength test appliance was
conceived for making high voltage tests up
to 100 KV in
laboratories, on automatic lines
and for single piece tests, according to national and international
standards.
|
| EPK 300 dielectric strength
test appliance can be used in four different test modes.
1st TEST
It is performed for a pre-defined time which starts when voltage goes to pre-set level.
3rd TEST
DESTROY: This test is done to locate where the fault takes place. The intervention is deactivated so that voltage can burn and show the fault. After the test, both with positive or negative result, high voltage cut happens whenever network voltage reaches Ø level, thus avoiding dangerous overvoltage which could damage the tested object. If the tests shows negative result, or if the pre-set current threshold is exceeded, high voltage supply stops. The value of the voltage which caused the fault is stored on the voltmeter until setting is completed, while a beep announces the end of the test. The values of pre-set voltage and current used for the test are chosen through multiturn potentiometers, by reading absolute values on the instruments placed on the appliance front board. |
