MULTIFUNCTION APPLIANCE FOR ELECTRIC
SAFETY TESTS
EDO 4 ENABLES TO CARRY
OUT TESTS FOR:
-Dielectric strength;
-Continuity of the equipotential
circuit;
-Insulation resistance;
-Residual voltage in
accordance with the directions of the IEC
roduct rules and with the EC directives. |

EDO 4 is totally microprocessor
run, thus enabling to get all
the measures in true effective value (TRUE RMS). Every command to
be given to EDO4, except for high voltage regulation during the dielectric
strength test, goes through the 8 buttons of the front switchboard only.
With EDO4
microprocessor it is
possible to switch scale automatically
(if provided for), to
support the precision
of measurements with a software and to set measurements either with a software
or with a hardware.
EDO4 can also store
2000 tests already done. It is possible to print stored results
by linking a parallel printer to the
connector already present on the appliance, even after it has been
switched off. Remote control allows EDO4 programming
through PLC or by any external keyboard. EDO4
allows a PC to be linked through
a serial gate
RS232. The employed display is of an alphanumeric
kind, backlighted with 4 lines and 40 columns. The following table shows
all the feasible parameters to input and the precision of measurements.
